De afdeling Vergunningverlening, Toezicht en Handhaving (VTH) van de sector Stadsontwikkeling houdt zich bezig met de toetsing van aanvragen om omgevingsvergunning, het verlenen van omgevingsvergunningen en het houden van toezicht op de naleving van bouwvoorschriften. Daarnaast is de afdeling belast met de vergunningverlening en handhaving van de milieuwet- en regelgeving en vervult zij het opdrachtgeverschap van de Omgevingsdienst Brabant Noord. Belangrijk bij de uitvoering van deze taak is een ?meedenkende? houding. Dit betekent dat niet alleen wordt gekeken wat wel of niet kan, maar dat ook adviezen worden gegeven voor mogelijke oplossingen.Als juridisch adviseur handhaving heb je de volgende taken:Het voeren van handhavingsprocedures Adviseren van initiatiefnemers en collega?s over de juiste procedures binnen de Omgevingswet. Het beoordelen van ruimtelijke plannen en omgevingsaanvragen op juridische haalbaarheid. Ook signaleer je juridische ontwikkelingen, zoals jurisprudentie, en vertaalt deze naar praktisch advies. Behandelen meldingen Wet Goed verhuurderschap en Wet Betaalbare huur.
