This category includes excavation work carried out as part of the establishment of small pumping stations. The works typically include: • Preparation of excavation, including obtaining pipe information, applying for relevant permits, and clarification with relevant authorities • Execution of the excavation work itself, including breaking up surfaces, cordoning off, excavation, and disposal of soil • Final works, including backfilling, compaction, reinstatement of surfaces, and asphalt works • Establishment of pipe routes, possibly by guided drilling This category includes excavation work in connection with construction and maintenance work on pipe networks and wells. This can include, for example: • Establishment, replacement, and repair of wells • Establishment, re-establishment, and repair of connections and main pipes • Preparation and execution of excavation work as mentioned under category 1 • Excavation in connection with technical installations • Terrain regulation • Establishment of access roads or temporary work areas The works may occur both on public areas and private land and will often require coordination with traffic considerations. Common to the tasks is that they are carried out as a main contract, where the contractor is responsible for the coordination of any subcontracts and authority matters. For tasks that fall within several categories, Novafos reserves the right to assign the task under the category that, after an overall assessment, best reflects the main content of the work.
