Hankinnan kohteena ovat Kiinteistö oy Auroranlinnalle suoritettavat kattotarkastukset, pienkorjaukset ja akuutit tilaustyöt kiinteistöhuollon tai Auroranlinnan kautta. Auroranlinnalla on kiinteistöjä noin 80 kohteessa ympäri Helsinkiä. Kiinteistöt/yhtiöt ovat kooltaan paritaloista yli 160 asuntoa käsittäviin talokokonaisuuksiin. Tarjoajalla tulee siten olla riittävät resurssit töiden loppuun saattamiseksi. Tehtävään on tarkoitus valita urakoitsija, joka ovat saanut eniten pisteitä kilpailutuksesta.
