Binnen MAenM is in de loop van 2023 de behoefte ontstaan om een kennisportaal op te richten dat acute kennisvragen vanuit MAenM kan behandelen. Deze kennisvragen moeten binnen relatief korte tijd beantwoord worden aan de hand van literatuur uit verschillende kennisinstellingen en planbureaus binnen en buiten Nederland. Om in deze behoefte te voorzien, is op 16 december 2024 de pilot Kennisportaal Migratie van start gegaan voor de periode van één (1) jaar. Concreet houdt het Kennisportaal Migratie een samenwerking in tussen MAenM en een kennispartner, waarbij de laatstgenoemde partij kennisvragen van MAenM in behandeling neemt en binnen een periode van maximaal zes (6) weken beantwoordt. De pilot is in juni 2025 door het Managementteam van de Directie Migratiebeleid (MT-DMB) positief beoordeeld, waarna is besloten om het Kennisportaal Migratie voort te zetten, in principe structureel, maar in elk geval voor een periode van vijf (5) jaar. Het Kennisportaal Migratie Het Kennisportaal Migratie betreft zoals vermeld een samenwerking tussen MAenM (de Opdrachtgever) en een kennispartner (de Opdrachtnemer). Het Kennisportaal Migratie kent twee primaire doelen: 1. Incidentele kennisvragen binnen AenM en andere ministeries beantwoorden met een korte looptijd. De antwoorden op deze kennisvragen, inclusief de gevonden literatuur, worden schriftelijk dan wel mondeling teruggekoppeld aan de indieners. 2.
