Letter and parcel transport service The subject of the procurement is the transport service for internal letters and parcels of the Municipality of Tuusula starting from 1.9.2026. The transports will be carried out as a courier service between the municipality's different units according to the routes attached. The routes are driven weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays. Holidays and public holidays may result in some individual driving days not being driven. The transports will be carried out as a courier service between the municipality's different units. Letters and parcels will be picked up in the morning from TuusInfo, located on the 2nd floor of the Särmä shopping center at Autoasemankatu 4. Letters and parcels arriving from the units will be delivered in the afternoon to the same location for further sorting and onward distribution. TuusInfo staff will handle the sorting of outgoing letters and parcels before transport. TuusInfo sorts outgoing internal letters and parcels in its own premises. The service provider will pick up these shipments in the morning and deliver them to pre-defined route destinations. The service provider will also pick up outgoing mail and parcels from each route destination and transport them to TuusInfo's premises on the same day for further processing. As an additional procurement option, hourly rates are requested for occasional, separately ordered similar transport services that take place outside of the regular routes. The client does not commit to any minimum order quantities, nor does the contract create a mandatory purchase obligation for the client. One service provider will be selected to provide the service, with whom the client will enter into a contract of indefinite duration.
