KKT connecting corridor energy efficiency development

Implementation works for the energy efficiency development of the Semmelweis University KKT connecting corridor. The aim of the investment is energy saving and safe operation. The investment is aimed at renovation and modernization to increase energy efficiency. The corridor is located on the property with cadastral number 36177/1, which has several protected monument buildings; however, the connecting corridor itself is not a protected heritage value. Total net floor area of the building: 657.92 m2 Tasks to be performed: The planned implementation works must be carried out alongside the continuous operation of the institution, in agreement with the Client. A) Architecture: - thermal insulation of the lower side of the arcade ceiling with a suspended 12 cm thick sandwich panel structure, - internal thermal insulation of the light-frame wall/roof structure with 15 cm thick rock wool insulation, vapor barrier foil, and plasterboard cladding, - replacement of existing windows and doors with modern triple-glazed, argon-filled windows with metal frames, - separation of the kitchen and restaurant anteroom from the corridor space; - creation of internal PVC floor covering, - creation of a strip ceiling. B) Building services: - dismantling of the existing radiator heating system, installation of a new heating distribution pipe network and radiator system, - installation of thermostatic valves on the planned radiators, - creation of a new heating circuit from the heat center to supply the corridor's heating system, with its own circulation pump, control and other necessary fittings, including the installation of a heat meter enabling consumption measurement in accordance with energy management. C) Building electrical: - replacement of existing light fixtures with LED light fixtures integrated into the suspended ceiling, - establishment of electrical energy supply in connection with the modernization of the building services system. D) Facade-related changes: The existing reinforced concrete pillars on the ground floor are to be painted RAL 7032 (stone gray). During the energy renovation, the existing sheet metal copper facade cladding of the upper corridor is to be retained; repairs and replacements as needed are planned. The existing plastic and wooden facade windows and doors are to be completely dismantled. Their fastening method is to be investigated. The detailed technical description/plans and the unpriced budget are included in the technical documentation. The contracting authority states, pursuant to Section 46 of Government Decree No. 321/2015 (X. 30.), that if the call for tenders and the procurement documents refer to a standard, technical approval, technical specification, technical recommendation, or a thing of a specified make or origin, or a specific procedure, trademark, patent, activity, person, type, or specific origin or manufacturing process, the designation is made solely to clearly define the subject matter, and the phrase "or equivalent" shall be understood to apply alongside the designation. The tenderer is responsible for proving equivalence.
