Climate Dialogue Canton - Municipalities 2027 (optional until 2031)

1. Conception, preparation and execution of events The contractor will jointly conceive, prepare and execute events between the canton and municipalities with the project team from the canton. Invited to the events are the executive members of all Zurich municipalities as well as experts from municipal and cantonal administrations. The number of participants at both events ranges between 150 and 200 people. Climate Dialogue Main Event Half-day event held annually in autumn in Zurich with presentations, panel discussions and a workshop component, usually on a current main topic. Contractor's services: Climate Dialogue On-site Annual excursion event with several parallel guided tours followed by a joint conclusion with an aperitif. This event takes place every year in a different region of the canton of Zurich. If necessary, the contractor can be assigned additional tasks within the scope of the events after consultation. Furthermore, the conception, preparation and execution of further events, e.g. workshops or courses, can be part of the tasks. 2. Support and further development of the climate dialogue working groups The following working groups are currently active: Working Group for Heating Networks and Gas Grids Working Group for Heat Reduction Working Group for E-Mobility Working Group for Participation Working Group for Anchoring Climate Protection and Adaptation in Municipal Organization Working Group for Circular Economy Each working group is supported by an expert from the cantonal administration. The working groups usually meet twice a year, with an average of 10 to 20 participants from the municipalities. 3. Planning and, if necessary, further development of activities within the framework of the climate dialogue The contractor supports the canton's project management in the implementation and, if necessary, further development of offers and activities. This includes the mentioned events and the activities of the working groups, and possibly additional offers. If significant changes are made due to the further development of the offers, there is a limited option to adjust the scope of work. Further information: www.zh.ch/klimadialog After legally binding award, a contract for the support of the Climate Dialogue Canton-Municipalities will be concluded for 1 year from 1.1. – 31.12.2027. The optional extension by a maximum of up to 4 years, i.e. until 31.12.2031 at the latest, can then be triggered separately.
