Architecture Competition for the New Educational Building of Kohtla-Järve Järve School

This document announces an architecture competition to select a winning design for a new educational building for Kohtla-Järve Järve School. The competition aims to identify the most suitable concept, and the winner will be awarded a procurement contract based on their proposed design, in accordance with Section 49, Paragraph 6 of the Public Procurement Act. This contract will cover the subsequent design phase for the new school building.

The competition details specify that the author(s) of the submitted design will retain personal and economic copyright over their work, as per the current Copyright Act, along with ownership rights to the designs. However, upon the payment of awards and/or encouragement prizes, the ownership rights and economic copyrights (excluding the right of implementation) for the awarded and/or recognized designs will be transferred to the Contracting Authority. This ensures that the Contracting Authority gains the necessary rights to proceed with the development of the new educational facility based on the selected design. The competition is a crucial step in the process of realizing the new educational infrastructure for Kohtla-Järve Järve School, seeking innovative and functional architectural solutions.
