The core objectives for economic development include strengthening entrepreneurial spirit and pride in Nyköping, promoting access to a skilled workforce, fostering the creation of stable new businesses, increasing the diversity of businesses through establishment initiatives, supporting innovation in SMEs, contributing to an attractive city center with developed retail, strengthening the tourism sector in partnership with Nyköping Tourism, and supporting the development of community associations.
