Conception and Implementation of the Agricultural Land Monitoring System for the State of Saxony-Anhalt according to Article 70 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2116 based on Sentinel Satellite Data and Other Methods

This tender concerns the conception and implementation of a comprehensive agricultural land monitoring system for the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. The project is mandated by Article 70 of Regulation (EU) 2021/2116 and will primarily utilize Sentinel satellite data, supplemented by other relevant methods and data sources. Examples of "other methods" may include, in addition to Sentinel data, other data sources such as Digital Orthophotos (DOP) from state aerial surveys, higher-resolution satellite imagery, and information derived from the Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS). The service provider may leverage current digital orthophotos from the state's surveying administration (covering 50% of the state's area annually, where available) and potentially other higher-resolution satellite data. The service delivery is structured to occur annually, corresponding to each application year or calendar year, throughout the contract duration.
