Route 73 Lieksanjoki Bridge, preparation of construction plan

Väylävirasto (Finnish Transport Agency) requests your tender for the preparation of a construction plan for "Kt 73 Lieksanjoen silta, rakentamissuunnitelman laatiminen" (Route 73 Lieksanjoki Bridge, preparation of construction plan). The design area is located in Lieksa and covers approximately an 800-meter section of Route 73 at the Lieksanjoki crossing. Route 73 is a road connection east of Pielinen lake, running from Kontiolahti Uuro to Nurmes, with Lieksa being the most significant populated center along it. Together with National Road 6 on the west side of Pielinen, Route 73 serves the region's business transport and enables everyday mobility. The basis for the design is the road plan prepared in 2024, "Kt 73 parantaminen välillä Braheantie-Timitrantie, Lieksa, tiesuunnitelma" (Improvement of Route 73 between Braheantie-Timitrantie, Lieksa, road plan). Construction design includes the design area, which is defined in the terms of reference and its appendices. Road plan solutions are also presented in the road plan on the general map 2.1T and in more detail on design maps 3T-1. The project includes, among other things, the design of routes (highways and streets) and bridges, as well as the design of road lighting, drainage, environment, and traffic arrangements during construction. The scope of the task is defined in the terms of reference. The design task will follow the current guidelines of Väylävirasto. The design work will be done using modeling. Option task: RS 275 Design during construction and changes to plans is an option. Negotiations on the use of the option will be initiated by the client. The use of the option requires the approval of both contracting parties. The design area is located in Lieksa and covers approximately an 800-meter section of Route 73 at the Lieksanjoki crossing.
