Purchase framework agreement for printed and electronically created (non-periodical) publications of foreign origin, not directly available in Hungary, for the period 2026–2029, with delivery to specific sites of the Contracting Authority. Framework amount: HUF 150,000,000 + 20% purchase option. The Contracting Authority undertakes to call off 70% of the framework amount. Approximate quantity: 5000 units. The Contracting Authority provides planned quantities but does not undertake to call off the specified quantities, only provides information on the approximate amount. The Contracting Authority may deviate from the specified quantities during the term of the framework agreement and may initiate orders until the framework amount is exhausted. The quantity of individual orders cannot be determined in advance, but it may include the simultaneous ordering of up to 280 publications. Brief description: Purchase framework agreement for printed and electronically created (non-periodical) publications of foreign origin, not directly available in Hungary or from Hungarian distributors, including scientific and professional publications, fiction series and individual prints, or author's editions not released for sale, or publications appearing at conferences, or new publications available from publishers, or old editions no longer directly available from publishers or their distributors, typically accessible through antiquarian booksellers, and other professional documents (any non-periodical publication created by reproduction – except electronic). Delivery to specific sites of the Contracting Authority. Tasks to be performed: The successful bidder shall be responsible for procuring, based on individual orders, professional and scientific publications, as well as fiction, of foreign origin, series and individual prints, including author's editions not released for sale, related to the fields of science taught and researched by the Contracting Authority, for its various organizational units and libraries, and for delivering them to specific sites of the Contracting Authority within the agreed delivery deadlines. The Contracting Authority may also request the procurement of promotional documents. The documents to be procured by the Contracting Authority include both new editions available from publishers or Hungarian distributors, and old editions no longer directly available from publishers or their distributors, typically accessible through antiquarian booksellers. Therefore, the Contracting Authority considers any document accessible through an antiquarian bookseller as one that is no longer directly available from the publisher or its distributor. The proportion of publications accessible through antiquarian booksellers is approximately 5–10% of the total procurement, and the proportion of new editions is 90–95%.
