Gemeente Oldambt is een plek waar historie en toekomst samenkomen. Je opdracht verricht je vanuit het Programmabureau als onderdeel van het programma Gebiedsgericht werken (GGW). Hier borg je kennis en kunde in de organisatie en het project resulteert daarnaast in een door de raad vastgestelde Participatieverordening (verplichting vanuit de Wet versterking Participatie op decentraal niveau). Je gaat aan de slag met het verstevigen en uitbreiden van de verbinding tussen de gemeente en haar inwoners. Dan hebben we het over inwoner- en overheidsparticipatie en daarmee betrokkenheid van inwoners en ondernemers bij de plannen van de gemeente. Daarbij stellen we de inwoner en de maatschappelijke opgaven centraal. We verwachten dat je met je project koers geeft aan de wijze waarop we participatie vormgeven. Wanneer zetten we participatie wel in en wanneer niet, in welke vorm(en), met welke deelnemers, wat zijn vooraf te nemen besluiten, hoe vergroten we blijvend de inwonerbetrokkenheid en hoe meten we het resultaat van onze participatietrajecten? Dit doe je in nauwe samenwerking met verschillende partijen zowel extern als intern (zoals de griffie, communicatie en juridische zaken) waarmee de lokale democratie wordt versterkt. Zowel ambtelijk als bestuurlijk. Met je team evalueer je het huidige beleid en kijk je wat wel en niet werkt, hoe lopende initiatieven kunnen worden ondersteund en zorg je voor draagvlak en vertrouwen.
