This facility is designed to accommodate a new covered producers' market, styled as "Halles," featuring quayside access. It will provide at least 160 permanent spaces for small and medium-sized producers. Additionally, it includes 6,770 m² of floor space for warehouses and cold storage facilities intended for large-scale producers, shippers, and cooperatives, aiming to establish a permanent offering branded as GRAND MARCHE DE PROVENCE. Furthermore, 1,632 m² of floor space will be dedicated to small units for retailers and wholesalers involved in short-circuit sales. A dedicated producers' market area of 9,960 m² will be established, alongside a 1,950 m² administrative building that will house a restaurant, café, and brasserie. The complex will also feature waste management facilities, a charging station, and minimum parking provisions for 19 heavy goods vehicles and 130 light vehicles. The producers' market area is planned for solarization in a subsequent phase. The selection method emphasizes architectural design quality through a competition.
