Description

Laboratory scale hydrogen membrane separation unit The University of Oulu is seeking a compact laboratory-scale hydrogen membrane separation and characterization system for research activities related to hydrogen purification, gas separation processes and membrane performance evaluation. The system will be used for experimental investigation of membrane technologies under controlled operating conditions using both single-gas and mixed-gas streams. The equipment shall be suitable for installation and operation inside a laboratory fume hood and shall have a compact footprint compatible with the available installation space. The fume hood has an active ventilation of 0.3 m/s. The system shall support flexible research activities by enabling precise control of gas composition, flow and pressure, while providing reliable and reproducible experimental data. The system shall facilitate membrane separation experiments, membrane integrity verification and safe operation with hydrogen-containing gas mixtures. Automated monitoring, process control and data acquisition capabilities shall be provided to support efficient experimental execution and research data analysis. The equipment shall be delivered as a complete turnkey solution including all necessary hardware, software, technical documentation, commissioning and operator training. The software environment shall provide an intuitive graphical user interface for experiment configuration, real-time process monitoring, automated data logging and export of experimental results. The proposed solution shall be designed to facilitate future integration of externally connected equipment, including but not limited to humidification systems and vacuum systems, without requiring major modifications to the core system architecture. Preference is given to modular and configurable systems that provide a high degree of automation, operational flexibility and reproducibility of experimental results. The project is co-funded by the EU Just Transition Fund (JTF). Pohjois-Pohjanmaan liitto (Council of Oulu region) is the project's main funder. The procurement is conditional upon the receipt of external funding. If the funding is not obtained or is withdrawn, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to suspend or cancel the procurement procedure without awarding a contract., Lot 1: Laboratory scale hydrogen membrane separation unit The University of Oulu is seeking a compact laboratory-scale hydrogen membrane separation and characterization system for research activities related to hydrogen purification, gas separation processes and membrane performance evaluation.
