District of Waldshut: Construction services for the internal development of the Hochrhein Health Park

The District of Waldshut is currently planning the new Hochrhein Clinic. The clinic will be part of a health park with an area of approximately 90,000 m². The health park is a development with predominantly commercial and mainly health-related use. The development for the entire area of the health park will be carried out by the District of Waldshut as the client on behalf of the municipality of Albbruck. The traffic development of the health park will be via two development axes. These are the so-called "Parkallee" running parallel to Federal Road 34 and the ring-shaped so-called "U-Straße". The Parkallee will be designed as a 3-lane road. In addition to the two continuous lanes with a width of 3.50 m, a multi-purpose lane with a width of 3.00 m will be created in the middle of the roadway. On both sides of the roadway, a 2.50 m wide green strip with tree plantings and a 2.50 m wide footpath will be created. The U-Straße serves primarily to develop the properties located to the south. It will be designed as a two-lane road with a roadway width of 6.50 m. The road will have a footpath running parallel on one side with a width of 2.50 m. In its western section, it connects to the plaza and on the east side to the foot and cycle path along the embankment. The so-called Magistrale forms the road between the two road sections of the U-Straße in the west-east direction. It begins in the west at the southern boundary of the plaza and ends at the small plaza area along the foot and cycle path along the noise protection wall. The Rhine bank path runs from the Parkallee in the west to the foot and cycle path along the noise protection wall. In the area of the adjacent sewage treatment plant, a protective wall approximately 270 m long is to be erected to protect against noise and odor. The total height of the construction ranges from approximately 8.50 m to approximately 2.00 m. The protective wall is to be constructed as a combination of an earth embankment and a protective wall (height 2.50 m) built on top of it. A drainage system will be designed for the discharge of rainwater from the public traffic areas (Parkallee / U-Straße / Magistrale). The pipes have been predominantly located within the public traffic areas. The areas of the Rhine bank path will be drained via the adjacent areas. No separate drainage systems are planned for this. This also applies to the path areas along the noise protection wall and its embankment areas. Drainage ditches with infiltration through the living soil layer are planned for this.
