Deze aanneming heeft tot doel het ontwerpen, fabriceren, transporteren, testen en indienststellen van een linkspan en naderhand ook te gaan onderhouden. De linkspan zal minstens een enkeldeks linkspan zijn met samengelaste brug en ponton, een tweebaansbrug met voetpad en een geleiding langs een geleidepaal. De veilige werklast (SWL) van de linkspan bedraagt minstens 220 ton. De linkspan is geschikt om de grootste roroschepen, type G-9 of gelijkwaardig, te kunnen laden en lossen. De linkspan ligt in een haven met getijde. De brug steunt aan de landzijde op een landhoofd.
