Original language: GermanDas DLR wird aufbauend auf dem U-Shift IV Fahrzeugkonzept in dem Projekt U-Shift V IMoGer ein Forschungsfahrzeug aufbauen. Für den Betrieb des U-Shift auf festgelegten Strecken ist ein automatisiertes Fahren bei realen Straßenverkehrsbedingungen auf öffentlicher Straße vorgesehen. Das U-Shift soll dabei in Kombination mit verschiedenen Kapseln einen vordefinierten Pfad bzw. Korridor entlangfahren, die Geschwindigkeit je nach Situation selbstständig variieren, und bei möglichen Kollisionen ausweichen oder von alleine anhalten. Während des Betriebs ist eine technische Aufsicht vorgesehen, welche das U-Shift mit autonomer Fahrfunktion deaktivieren und Fahrmanöver freigeben kann. Im Rahmen dieser Beauftragung soll für das U-Shift V der Einsatz einer Paketstation (Lockerbox) erprobt werden und eine entsprechende Kapsel gefertigt und mit einer gängigen Paketstation versehen werden. Dazu soll die Konstruktion einer bestehenden Güterkapsel übernommen und angepasst, hergestellt, zusammengebaut und ausgeliefert werden.
