Sludge Collection and Transport in the Area of Korppoo and Nauvo

This tender concerns the collection and transportation of sludge within the Korppoo and Nauvo regions. The contract area is situated on the main island of Korppoo and the island of Norrskata, as well as the main island of Nauvo and the islands of Haverö, Högsar, Käldö, Vallmo, Sandö, Seili, and Ön, all within the municipality of Parainen. The contract will be awarded on a unit price basis, covering all costs associated with the operation (excluding VAT). The unit price must include all work performances stipulated in the agreement. Sludge emptying operations must be conducted between 06:00 and 21:00. The contract includes the collection of all sludge that falls under the municipality's statutory organizing responsibility, as defined by Chapter 5 of the Waste Act (Sections 32 and 33), using appropriate equipment. This sludge is emptied from collection systems such as septic tanks, dry toilets, small wastewater treatment plants, and other tank groups. A single property may have multiple types of sludge tanks to be emptied. The collected sludge must be transported to a receiving point designated by the client on behalf of the client. Sludge collected from the contract area must be delivered to the Korppoo sludge reception station at Strömmantie 12, 21710 Korppoo. If delivery to the Korppoo station is not possible, the sludge will be delivered to a secondary receiving point specified by the client. This secondary reception point is the central wastewater treatment plant of Parainen Vesi, the water utility of the City of Parainen, located at Norrbyn rantatie 10, 21600 Parainen. The contractor must possess suitable sludge collection equipment capable of performing the contracted work safely and efficiently.
