2.1.1. A presente contratação tem por finalidade viabilizar a locação de imóvel urbano destinado à instalação e funcionamento do Centro Recreativo do CRAS do Município de Espírito Santo do Dourado/MG, visando assegurar a continuidade, ampliação e fortalecimento das atividades socioassistenciais, culturais, recreativas, educativas e de convivência desenvolvidas no âmbito da política pública de assistência social.
2.1.2. O Centro de Referência de Assistência Social – CRAS constitui unidade pública essencial da Proteção Social Básica do Sistema Único de Assistência Social – SUAS, responsável pela execução de serviços, programas, projetos e benefícios voltados à prevenção de situações de vulnerabilidade e risco social, especialmente por meio do fortalecimento de vínculos familiares e comunitários, da inclusão social e da promoção da convivência coletiva entre crianças, adolescentes, jovens, adultos e idosos.
2.1.3. Atualmente, o Município não dispõe de imóvel público próprio com estrutura física compatível e suficiente para o desenvolvimento adequado das oficinas, atividades coletivas, cursos, palestras, reuniões, ações recreativas, práticas corporais, apresentações culturais e demais atividades promovidas pelo CRAS, especialmente aquelas vinculadas ao Serviço de Convivência e Fortalecimento de Vínculos – SCFV e demais programas socioassistenciais executados pela Secretaria Municipal competente.
