Lot 1 Aitrach

The Broadband Supply Association in the Ravensburg district has in recent years established a fiber optic infrastructure to ensure high-performance and future-proof supply in parts of the association's area. To this end, starting from connection points to existing fiber optic infrastructures, supply infrastructures into the supply area (backbone network) as well as inner-city distribution networks in insufficiently supplied areas of the association's area have been established based on FTTC (as an intermediate step) and FTTB technology. Based on this infrastructure, the client plans the construction of a subsidized Gigabit network based on FTTB technology in the districts of Aitrach, Argenbühl, Fronreute, and Wolfegg successively in the years 2026 to 2029. Starting from the existing backbone network of the association, the subsidized Gigabit network (FTTB) consists of supply infrastructures into the supply area as well as inner-city distribution networks in the respective expansion areas. An overview of the planned Gigabit network (FTTB) can be found in the appendix 'Trassenkonzepte'. This newly created passive Gigabit network (FTTB) is to be successively handed over to a private-sector network operator as operational partial networks for the utilization and establishment of the active network level and the supply of high-bitrate broadband connections for a fee. Furthermore, network extensions built at a later date, for example through densification in built-up areas or the development of construction areas, are to be handed over to the network operator in the respective districts after their construction and are part of the subject of the tender. The lease and network operation contract to be awarded with this tender comprises, in the sense of a framework agreement, the following building connection points (GAP) and usage units (NE) for Lot 1 Aitrach: - Addresses included in the funding procedure: 656 building connection points with 941 usage units - Maximum quantity of addresses according to the framework agreement: 845 building connection points with 1,130 usage units - Guaranteed minimum quantity of addresses according to the framework agreement: 423 building connection points The projects are funded as follows, whereby currently only notices of grant of a subsidy in a preliminary amount are available in the scope according to the appendix 'Zuwendungsbescheide'. Final notices can only be applied for once the planning services still required for the so-called specific application requests have been provided by the successful bidder and the result of the tender is available. - Guideline 'Funding to support the Gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany' – in the amended version of April 30, 2024 (Gigabit Guideline 2.0) - Administrative regulation of the Ministry of the Interior on co-financing the Federal Guideline 'Funding to support the Gigabit expansion of telecommunications networks in the Federal Republic of Germany' (VwV Gigabitmitfinanzierung) of July 27, 2023 The later contractor must comply with all specifications of the subsidy notices underlying the project, including secondary provisions, notes, conditions, information sheets, and appendices, as well as the relevant funding programs.
