Description
Lot 1 will consist of call off contracts for large elements of civils works, which may include station boxes, tunnel portals, single or multi span viaducts, and other contract packages. The first call off contract to be awarded under Lot 1 will be for the construction of the underground MetroLink station box at Dublin Airport (the “Dublin Airport station box”). Further call offs under Lot 1 are anticipated potentially for additional station box/es, tunnel portal/s, single or multi span viaducts, or other related contract packages yet to be identified.
The scope of this first call off contract under Lot 1 for the Dublin Airport station box is expected to comprise the following: • Detailed reinforcement design, design of all temporary works, design the construction methodology, to deliver the works (TII will provide the detailed design of the station box) • perform the roles of PSDP and PSCS • Consultation with daa, TII and other key stakeholders for the contractors design, traffic management, site logistics, construction equipment restrictions etc. • Surveys and/or additional ground investigations as maybe required • Erection and maintenance of site/access hoarding • Removal of any existing barriers, bollards, kerbs and street furniture • Removal or diversion of any utilities • Excavation works • Demolition and removal of materials from any structures on site • Construction of triage centre for PFAS • Analysis, treatment and disposal of PFAS contaminated soil • All construction works required for the construction of the airport station box • Any other works as may be required for interfacing with the M100, M400 and M500 Contracts • Procurement of ancillary equipment as may be necessary • Provison of as-built digital models/drawings and asset records • Preparation of site for take-over by other MetroLink contractors • Any other related works Refer to the PQQ documents for further information.
