LOT 1: Design and Execution of "Rehabilitation Works of Railway Bridges, Culverts and Tunnels - Viaduct km 28+240, CF422 Salva – Vișeu de Jos Line"

The proposed works to be executed are viaduct rehabilitation works, as described in the Feasibility Study which will be made available to the Contractor by the Contracting Entity. The Contracting Entity will provide the Contractor with the Urbanism Certificates and environmental regulatory documents obtained at the Feasibility Study level, along with the related approvals/opinions/authorizations. In case updates of these documents are necessary, the Contractor, supported by the Beneficiary, will undertake all steps to update them and obtain approvals/opinions/authorizations, as applicable. The execution of the proposed works for the rehabilitation and modernization of the railway structure, the 2 viaducts located on the CF422 Salva – Vișeu de Jos line, will contribute to: - Bringing the structures into normal safety and operating conditions - Eliminating dangerous points on the railway route - Creating conditions for the cancellation of speed restrictions - Increasing the circulation speed of freight and passenger trains - Reducing travel times - Increasing the future attractiveness of rail transport The Beneficiary's requirements regarding the requested services and works, as well as the expected results from the provision of services and execution of works, are detailed in the Technical Specification. The proposed works to be executed will be implemented in accordance with the approved Technical Documentation and current Instructions, in the technological execution order, with strict adherence to the quality control program, determinant phases, and the requirements of the Technical Specification. In this solution, the viaduct will be repaired and strengthened by jacketing with concrete. The extrados of the concrete vaults will be uncovered, areas with degraded concrete will be repaired, and the vaults and piers will be strengthened by jacketing with reinforced concrete. The trough, waterproofing, tympanums, and refuges will be redone. The rail frame (S60) – concrete sleepers will be replaced. A new parapet will be installed, and the quarter circles will be redone. The riverbed will be arranged for 20m upstream and downstream, and the gabion sill will be redone and protected with concrete. The fiber optic and analog copper cables are located overhead on poles and are not affected by the works. The estimated contract value for LOT 1: Design and Execution of "Rehabilitation Works of Railway Bridges, Culverts and Tunnels - Viaduct km 28+240, CF422 Salva – Vișeu de Jos Line", is 30,852,105.53 lei excluding VAT, composed of: - Design services: 1,025,147.71 lei excluding VAT; - Execution of works: 27,873,143.79 lei excluding VAT; - Implementation reserves, provisioned amount: 1,953,814.03 lei excluding VAT. In addition to this value, the Contracting Entity, in accordance with the provisions of art. 117, paragraph (1) of Law 99/2016 with subsequent amendments and additions, opts for the subsequent procurement of new similar services and/or works from the bidder whose offer was declared the winner in the present sectoral procurement procedure in the amount of 2,794,872.90 lei excluding VAT, representing 10% of the estimated contract value (excluding estimated values for implementation reserves and site organization), resulting in a total estimated contract value of 33,646,978.44 lei excluding VAT. Thus, the Total Estimated Contract Value (including similar services/works) is in the range of 30,852,105.53 lei excluding VAT - 33,646,978.44 lei excluding VAT. The estimated contract value does not include amounts related to the "Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses" provision. Miscellaneous and unforeseen expenses are found in the General Estimate.
