Description

This tender, originating from Germany and published on oeffentlichevergabe_de, concerns the delivery of a specific type of firefighting or rescue vehicle: a WLF 26/6900. The contracting authority requires a specialized vehicle designed for fire brigades or emergency services. A WLF (Wechselladerfahrzeug - interchangeable loader vehicle) is a versatile platform used to transport various specialized swap bodies (e.g., water tanks, rescue equipment, command modules). The specification '26/6900' likely refers to its load capacity (26 tonnes) and potentially the chassis/body dimensions or configuration. Typical requirements for such a procurement include the vehicle meeting stringent technical and safety standards for emergency vehicles in Germany, including chassis specifications, lifting and loading systems, operational controls, and compliance with firefighting equipment regulations. Bidders must demonstrate expertise in supplying specialized vehicles for emergency services and provide detailed technical specifications, including performance data, safety features, and compliance certificates. The tender documentation will outline the precise requirements for the chassis, the interchangeable loading system, and any included swap bodies. The evaluation will focus on technical compliance, reliability, safety, suitability for emergency operations, and overall value.
