Airborne Bathymetric LiDAR System
About This Opportunity
TranslatedThis tender concerns the procurement of a swiveling LiDAR scanner system designed for ceiling mounting (approximately 3.5 meters high, centrally above the experimental setup). The system is required to operate with two distinct wavelengths (green and infrared) for the topo-bathymetric surveying of scaled-down, analog landscape models within an indoor environment. The maximum water depth to be surveyed is 30 cm. Key functionalities include the coupling of the system with an RGB camera to colorize the generated point clouds. Furthermore, the scope of this procurement encompasses the necessary data management software, installation, and calibration services. The contract also includes three maintenance interventions within the first five years of operation, along with a warranty period. This specialized system is intended for detailed, high-resolution surveying of model landscapes, enabling precise measurement of both above-water topography and underwater bathymetry in controlled indoor conditions. The dual-wavelength capability is crucial for penetrating water and accurately capturing submerged features, while the integrated RGB camera ensures rich, contextually accurate point cloud data. The comprehensive service package, including software, installation, maintenance, and warranty, aims to ensure the system's optimal performance and longevity for the intended research and surveying applications.
This is a supplies contract in the Research, information and communication technology and architecture and engineering sectors, with a focus on Research Institutions, geospatial systems, Data Science and Architectural Design. Located in Germany, Europe, this opportunity is open to firms and consortiums.
