LXS First Lounge & Special Processes - BKP 213 Steel construction

This tender concerns the construction of a new connecting building at Zurich Airport, situated between Terminal 2 and Bus Gate South B15, which will replace the existing walkway. This new structure aims to enhance the connectivity of Bus Gate G1 and provide dedicated areas on Level G0 for First Class and PRM (Persons with Reduced Mobility) passengers. The new building will feature its own technical room on Level G2, equipped with electrical supply and ventilation systems. Structurally, the connecting building will mirror the adjacent structures, featuring a load-bearing framework of steel beams and ceilings made of Holorib metal sheets with a concrete topping. The design emphasizes visual integration with the existing buildings, both externally and internally. The facade design will align with Bus Gate B15, and interior finishing will utilize materials from the adjacent buildings. The scope of work includes the construction of a three-story steel structure, including the installation of Holorib metal sheets, various modifications to existing steel structures, and the extension of existing structures for a climate control center.
