MEALS and other KITCHEN ACTIVITIES FOR WZC VILLA HUGARDIS HOEGAARDEN 2027- 2030

The contract consists of supplying the following daily meals: breakfast, lunch, coffee break, and dinner for the maximum capacity of 61 residents of the nursing home. Breakfast and dinner are bread-based meals, with residents having a choice from a wide assortment of savory and sweet toppings and different types of bread (white and brown). On Sundays, this assortment is expanded with special breads (sugar bread and rose bread). The evening meal also includes an individual and separately pre-packaged dessert (such as yogurt, pudding, or an equivalent alternative). The lunch consists of soup, main course, and dessert (fresh fruit, pastry, pudding, ice cream, etc.). This meal is produced externally and fresh, then cooled, sealed, and delivered in finished form, in bulk packaging of a maximum of 10 portions, in containers suitable for regeneration. On holidays, a festive menu may be proposed. The coffee break is facilitated with an individually and separately pre-packaged quality cookie, with a weekly changing assortment. The nursing home itself is responsible for the storage, regeneration, distribution, and consumption of the delivered meals. Specifics: - Once a week, the evening bread meal is supplemented with a hot or cold full meal, without soup. - Four times a year, the lunch meal is replaced by a themed meal, e.g., mussels, game, asparagus, etc. - Each resident also receives a birthday breakfast annually. - A varied and ready-to-use selection of finger food is provided in limited quantities. In addition to the complete daily meal provision, this public contract also includes other kitchen activities: • Drinks (with the express exception of coffee): For all three departments as well as the cafeteria. • Goods for sale for the cafeteria: Dry food, snacks, refreshments, and specific retail products. • Non-food items: Aids for meal care, hygienic consumables (bibs, napkins, etc.) The coffee supply is explicitly excluded from the scope of this agreement and is managed through a separate contract.
