Description

Auto-translated from da

Nordfyns Municipality wishes to tender meal service including delivery to home-dwelling citizens. The tender does not include the delivery of food to citizens residing in the Municipality's nursing homes. Meal service is a service granted under § 13 of the Elderly Act (LBK no. 1651 of 30/12/2024) and/or § 83 of the Social Services Act (LBK no. 1287 of 28/08/2020). Citizens in their own homes are granted the service in accordance with the provisions of § 18 of the Elderly Act on free choice and § 91 of the Social Services Act. The law aims to ensure that citizens in their own homes who have been assessed for meal service have free choice of provider. The task includes meal service with delivery, i.e., production and delivery of food. Nordfyns Municipality has estimated the total scope of the task to be: • An average of 1,200 portions per week (main courses). This is in addition to the purchase of side dishes and packed lunches. The scope is calculated based on the period June 2025 – May 2026 (both inclusive). As citizens have free choice among providers, the scope of services under the Agreement depends partly on how many citizens are eligible for an assessment for meal service, and partly on the citizens' specific choice of provider. Nordfyns Municipality cannot therefore guarantee the provider a minimum purchase during the agreement period.
