Description
The uninterrupted continuation of this contract is needed to keep providing maintenance and repair of Bar Screens at Flushing Bay Combined Sewer Overflow (FBCSO) Department of Environmental Protection Facilities, Queens. The Bar Screens are electro-mechanical screens with hoist mechanism and contain several moving components. The Systems are in constant use and are subject to severe operating conditions during wet season.As a result, various parts of the systems need to be cleaned, maintained, and repaired.
This contract is required to service the Bar Screen on an as-needed basis in order to prevent the contaminations from storm water, therefore to create a safer environment.
