Description

The Saskatchewan Research Council (SRC) is Canada’s second largest research and technology organization. SRC focuses its efforts on the mining, minerals, agriculture and energy sectors, and the environmental considerations that are important across each sector. With about 400 employees, and 80 years of R&D experience, SRC has 1,500 clients in 27 countries around the world. We help clients from across the world solve technology problems, make improvements, seize opportunities, maintain competitiveness, increase productivity, and develop new markets.

SRC is conducting a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Manufacturing and Assembly of Furnaces. SRC invites qualified firms, with a proven track record of completing work within scope, on time, and on budget, to submit proposals.

The purpose of this RFP is to identify Proponents able to provide the product in an economical and timely manner, and to identify a proponent(s) with whom SRC may enter into an Agreement. SRC expects to evaluate and identify the proposal which will provide the best overall value to SRC, including but not limited to qualifications and experience, capability and capacity, approach and methodology, safety and risk management, references, Indigenous inclusion, pricing, scope of work estimates and any other aspect of the services quoted, as determined by SRC in its sole discretion. Notwithstanding any provisions otherwise stated herein, it is the intention of SRC that if awarded, to award the complete agreement to one bidder. However, more than one vendor may be selected to best fulfill the project objectives. This RFP is not a tender and is not subject to the law of competitive bidding.
