Market Survey – Office Space Rental in the Capital Area

Office Space in the Capital Area Framkvæmdasýslan – Ríkiseignir (FSRE), on behalf of the state treasury, is conducting a market survey regarding the potential long-term lease of modern, project-oriented, and flexible office space for state institutions in the Capital Area. The space is expected to be leased long-term for up to 25 years and delivered fully equipped for use, without loose furnishings. See Appendices I and II for guidelines on the work environment and housing matters. Location, Accessibility, and Space Requirements The location must be in the Capital Area, within urban centers and close to public transport. Parties must provide information on accessibility to public transport near the premises, including the distance to the nearest bus stops, which bus routes serve them, and the frequency of these routes during peak morning and afternoon hours. The premises must have good accessibility for all users, including those with mobility impairments, cyclists, and pedestrians, as well as sufficient parking spaces. Proximity to other services is an advantage. The premises should offer the possibility of a shared reception, canteen, and meeting facilities. Premises that can be leased and delivered in phases will be considered. The estimated space requirement is 5,000 – 10,000 m². It is desirable for the premises to be ready for delivery, possibly in phases, within 12 – 24 months from the signing of the lease agreement. It is necessary to provide information on the possible delivery time of the offered premises.
