With the Zentrum für Safe Sport e.V. (ZfSS), an independent institution for the prevention, intervention, and investigation of interpersonal violence in German sports is being established for the first time. As a nationwide institution, the ZfSS promotes safe sports and strengthens protective structures. Its task is to independently investigate and sanction incidents of psychological, physical, and sexual violence in elite sports – including those below the threshold of criminal offenses – based on uniform standards. The service will be gradually expanded. Furthermore, the ZfSS bundles tasks in prevention and investigation, develops guidelines and certifications for Safe Sport, and strengthens the cooperation of sports, science, politics, and civil society. Founded by the federal and state governments as a non-profit association, the ZfSS is currently being established: Regular operations will start in mid-2027, and the move into the property in Kassel will begin in autumn 2026. The ZfSS is pioneering and developing a work culture characterized by appreciation, interdisciplinarity, and co-creation. Diverse perspectives and expertise form the foundation for a future-proof institution that relies on integrity and trust. To fulfill this task, the ZfSS requires a case management system that forms the technical basis for the investigation and sanctioning of cases. It should map the case file throughout the entire lifecycle of a case – from the receipt of an initial tip to disciplinary proceedings – with the involvement of internal employees and external experts, with the protection of personal data and special categories of personal data being paramount. The objective of the market exploration is to obtain a well-founded overview of existing solutions and their functionalities before the actual tender. - YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE MARKET EXPLORATION ? As part of the market exploration, product demonstration appointments are planned. In these up to one and a half hour appointments, you will have the opportunity to present your product. During this, a demo scenario will be run through (see Appendix 1_Demo Scenario). In addition, questions on further aspects will be asked during the appointment. - APPOINTMENTS - Appointments for individual discussions will be arranged with interested parties at short notice and will take place digitally (WebEx). There is a limited contingent (maximum 7 discussions) available. The discussions are planned to take place in CW 42 and possibly CW 43. - REGISTRATION - A simple registration by email to Dr. Elisabeth Mrozik (Elisabeth.Mrozik@pd-g.de) and Nomman Pasha (Nomman.Pasha@pd-g.de) is sufficient.
