Materials Framework

This Procurement is designed to establish a Closed Framework through an Open Procedure in line with PA23 for the supply, design, manufacture, delivery and/ or hire of building materials, associated products, equipment and construction fuel for Orbit Group Limited and any other Authority Group member entitled to use the Framework Agreement. It is intended to provide a resilient, compliant and value-for-money supply route that supports Orbit Homes (2020) Limited and the wider Orbit Group in delivering safe, affordable, high-quality and sustainable homes. The Framework will consist of 28 individual Lots for the supply of key materials used in the construction and regeneration of our homes. Supply facing bricks, brick arches and brick specials in accordance with planning requirements, technical specifications, product schedules and site programmes. Supply thermal and concrete blocks in accordance with drawings, U value requirements, technical specifications and product schedules. Design, manufacture, supply and delivery of all timber joists, engineered joists and roof trusses as per house type. Submissions must address design basis, drawings, calculations where required, inclusion checklist, bracing, wall plates, metalwork, restraint straps, protection kits, stairwell protection where applicable, offload restrictions, delivery assumptions and approval process. Supply thermally broken lintels, steel products and associated items. Supply soffit, fascia, GRP and cladding products. Commodity elements may be priced using product schedules. GRP, cladding and plotted or design-led items must be priced using drawings, elevations, plot schedules, fixing assumptions, colour and finish requirements, certification requirements and inclusion checklists.
