Milieueffectrapportage is een belangrijk instrument om de impact van de projecten op het milieu in kaart te brengen en te beoordelen. Door de groeiende bevolking, energietransitie, stikstofcrisis, de biodiversiteitsafname en de circulaire economie, staan we voor grote uitdagingen op het gebied van milieu, klimaat, duurzaamheid, natuur en landschap. Als beleidsmedewerker Milieueffectrapportage draag je bij aan het inzichtelijk maken van alle milieugevolgen in besluitvormingstrajecten en belangrijke projecten. Je zorgt ervoor dat alle milieugevolgen zorgvuldig worden onderzocht en meegewogen in besluitvormingsprocessen. Je komt te werken binnen het programma Milieu & Energie. Het programma bestaat uit meerdere teams. Het team waarbinnen je aan het werk gaat bestaat uit 10 milieuspecialisten met expertise op het gebied van luchtkwaliteit, luchtvaart, geluid en milieueffectrapportage. Je hebt ook veel contact met collega's die verantwoordelijk zijn voor MER-plichtige projecten en programma's op het gebied van mobiliteit, waterveiligheid, energietransitie en ruimtelijke inrichting. Je werkt in deze functie in de rol van beleidsmedewerker concreet aan: Het beoordelen van ingediende voorstellen, het bewaken van de voortgang, afstemming met moederbesluiten en de financi?le afwikkeling.Het opstellen van opdrachten aan adviesbureaus voor het opstellen van MER-producten. Je zorgt ervoor dat de resultaten van milieueffectrapportages worden verwoord in goed leesbare, kloppende en foutloze rapporten. Je zorgt dat de resultaten van milieueffectrapportages voldoen aan de kwaliteitseisen van een goede structuur en vormgeving van de rapportage en dat de documenten tijdig worden opgeleverd en gemakkelijk door het besluitvormingstraject vloeien.Je vertegenwoordigt de provinciale belangen bij externe instanties zoals de ?Commissie Milieueffectrapportage? en neemt actief deel aan verschillende projectteams en overlegstructuren.Je werkt stapsgewijs en in samenwerking met belanghebbenden en bestuur, toe naar bestuurlijk en maatschappelijk gedragen voorkeursalternatieven en besluitvorming.
