CITY OF OSTROV – SELECTION OF SCHOOL CATERING OPERATOR

The subject of this public contract is the provision of services consisting in ensuring school catering for pupils and employees of school facilities in the City of Ostrov and ensuring the operation of canteens in these school facilities according to the contracting authority's specifications and in the scope, quality and standard of catering according to Decree of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports No. 107/2005 Coll., on school catering, as amended (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"). Catering will be provided in the form of preparing lunches in the premises of the kitchen with a serving area and canteen of the Ostrov Primary School, Masarykova 1289, contributory organization and their subsequent serving to customers of the Ostrov Primary School, Masarykova 1289, contributory organization and Ostrov Primary School, contributory organization at the same address (pupils and employees of Ostrov Primary School, contributory organization are catered for in the canteen of Ostrov Primary School, Masarykova 1289, contributory organization) and their transport and distribution to other school facilities specified below. The contracting authority will provide premises in the school buildings based on a written loan agreement, which forms Annex No. 6 of the tender documents. The services consist in ensuring catering and operation of the kitchen and canteens, as well as all activities related to the production and serving of food and cleaning and maintenance of the premises and equipment for its preparation and serving, i.e. in particular cleaning, washing and disinfection of all used dishes, containers for food transport, tools and equipment used for preparation and serving, including ensuring transport and distribution to school facilities. The services must be provided in accordance with all applicable health, safety and fire protection regulations, in particular in accordance with the conditions set out in Act No. 258/2000 Coll., on public health protection, as amended, in accordance with the decree on school catering and according to valid hygienic and nutritional standards of school catering, i.e. also in accordance with the principles of good manufacturing and hygiene practice in catering services (HACCP). The operator will manage waste in an ecological manner and in accordance with applicable legal regulations in connection with the performance of the Services. A more detailed specification of the subject of performance and the required Services, their scope, quality and standard is provided in the Requirements for ensuring school catering and operation of canteens in school facilities in the City of Ostrov, which forms Annex No. 2 of the tender documents, and in the binding draft contract for ensuring school catering, which forms Annex No. 3 of the tender documents. The kitchen with serving area and canteens in individual buildings are unfurnished (dishes, tables and chairs, refrigerators, combi ovens and all accessories). Food preparation will be carried out on the supplier's equipment, machines and appliances. The supplier will deliver all equipment, i.e. large and small inventory, including tables, chairs for canteens and dishes, including the renewal and replenishment of inventory. The supplier is obliged to ensure all inspections and tests of electrical and gas equipment throughout the duration of the contract, in accordance with applicable legal regulations. All costs for equipment, operation and inspections are borne by the supplier.
