Microsoft M365 Subscription Bochum Schools

The City of Bochum, as a modern public administration and the school authority for currently 82 schools at 96 locations (basis: updated school statistics 2025/2026 of the City of Bochum), continuously uses new technologies and applications and consistently and continuously drives forward the digital expansion of the school infrastructure. Through the use of various funding programs (Digital Pact, Good School 2020, Training Offensive, etc.) as well as through the provision of own funds, Bochum schools now have a modern and scalable basis on many levels to offer and ensure modern technology-supported teaching. Through these programs, but also through constant own initiatives, which include structural measures such as fire protection renovations, new buildings and core renovations in the school sector, a paradigm shift in the Bochum school landscape has now been initiated. In the context of school digitalization, the school authority has been offering all interested Bochum schools the use of the M365 collaboration software in the A3 version as a multi-tenant environment for several years. The current basis for this is a corresponding Microsoft MSPA framework agreement (in conjunction with a Microsoft Campus EES framework agreement in a multi-tenant version) with an end date of 31.07.2026.
