Furniture for equipping classrooms

The procurement contract concerns the award for the purchase of furniture for equipping classrooms – „Dr. Aurel Vlad” Primary School, related to the project “Equipping pre-university education units and related units in Orăștie Municipality with furniture, teaching materials, and ICT equipment”. The general objective of the project is to improve the educational infrastructure in Orăștie Municipality in order to increase the quality and diversification of the educational offer, by equipping pre-university education units with modern furniture, specifically by equipping classrooms, laboratories, and sports halls (where applicable) designed to facilitate the learning process and create the necessary opportunities for maintaining and increasing student performance. Equipping pre-university education units significantly contributes to reducing performance gaps between students, increasing the level of education, and ensuring increased comfort for both students and teachers, thus contributing positively to the conduct of classes and implicitly to facilitating the learning/teaching process. At the same time, it should be noted that by creating a conducive and accessible learning environment, the reduction of the school dropout rate in the medium and long term is also implicitly aimed at.
