A key target is to ensure that at least 80% of all journeys within these districts are undertaken using environmentally friendly modes of transport (Umweltverbund), encompassing public transport, cycling, and walking. This initiative aims to create a sustainable and forward-thinking urban environment that prioritizes green mobility solutions and reduces reliance on private vehicles, aligning with broader goals for sustainable urban development and climate action.
