Modernization of HWKS - Building Physics

This procurement concerns the planning services for building physics according to Annex 1 to § 3 Paragraph 1 HOAI 2021, service phases 1-7. The scope includes thermal insulation and energy balancing, structural acoustics (sound insulation), and room acoustics for the structural implementation of the modernization of the Chamber of Crafts Schwerin's Education and Technology Center and boarding school. Upon contract award, service phases 1-4 of HOAI will be immediately commissioned. The subsequent service phases 5-7 will be called off optionally, in whole or in part. The planning services will therefore be commissioned in stages, particularly depending on the approval of expected funding after the planning approval, the securing of financing, and the absence of significant reasons against further commissioning. The contractor has no legal entitlement to the commissioning of individual or all stages. In addition to implementing a current space and functional program, which considers changes in participant numbers, training content, and training requirements within the scope of needs assessment, the structural and technical measures on the existing building must also be implemented during the modernization of the spatial-functional structures. Specifically, the roofs (barrel vault and flat roofs) are to be adapted to current energy requirements. Summer and winter thermal protection on facade and roof areas are to be optimized and adapted to the changed requirements of the room functions. The specialist planning services for building physics should be oriented towards the GEG (Building Energy Act) and the associated fundamental requirements for thermal insulation, energy balancing, and structural acoustics.
