„Modernization of roads and water supply network in Łódź” – framework agreement

1. The subject of the order is the conclusion of a framework agreement for construction works in the scope of modernization of roads and water supply network in Łódź, divided into tasks: 1) Task 1: Modernization of roads in Łódź – ZDiT Task. The purpose of concluding the framework agreement for Task 1 is the successive awarding of executive orders for the performance of construction works related to the modernization of roads in the city of Łódź. The scope of works includes the modernization of the road lane, including: preparatory and demolition works, sub-bases, pavements, traffic safety devices, street elements, road greenery, road drainage, tele-technical and telecommunication works. "Modernization" of the road lane should be understood as the reconstruction, construction or renovation (within the meaning of the Construction Law Act) – depending on the subject of the executive order. 2) Task 2: Modernization of the water supply network in Łódź – ZWiK Task. The purpose of concluding the framework agreement for Task 2 is the successive awarding of executive orders for the performance of construction works related to the modernization of the water supply network in the city of Łódź, made of ductile iron pipes, including PE and iron connections, with diameters from 100 mm to 250 mm. The mentioned networks will be realized mostly in excavations, and partly using trenchless technologies. "Modernization of the water supply network" should be understood as the reconstruction, construction or renovation of this network – depending on the subject of the executive order. As part of the modernization of the water supply network, it will also be necessary to restore the surface outside the road lane (e.g., after rebuilding connections), and it may also be necessary to simultaneously rebuild underground infrastructure or perform other accompanying works. 2. The "estimated quantities" provided in the price form – framework cost estimate for Task 1 and the estimated number of working hours for Task 2 are indicative quantities. The contracting authority reserves the right to make changes to individual items of the price form – framework cost estimate and the number of working hours within the scope of decreasing / increasing the estimated quantities, within the amounts indicated in Chapter 2, item 6.1. of the Terms of Reference (SWZ). 3. The contracting authority informs that the construction works carried out within the executive orders will be settled as follows: 1) Tasks from the scope of the ZDiT Contracting Authority – measurement settlement, 2) Tasks from the scope of the ZWiK Contracting Authority – lump-sum settlement. 4. The exact location and scope of works, as well as their execution deadline, will be determined separately for each executive order. Furthermore, the contracting authority will separately determine for each executive order the amount of the required civil liability insurance policy, which the contractor selected for the execution of the executive order will be obliged to submit to the contracting authority before signing the executive contract, in accordance with the provisions of § 17 of the executive contract, which is attachment no. 4a and 4b to the framework agreement. 5. The subject of the order is to be performed in accordance with the Description of the Subject of the Order, which is attachment no. 8 to the SWZ and the draft framework agreement with attachments, included in attachment no. 9 to the SWZ.
