OPEN ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION FOR THE BUILDING OF SCIENTIFIC DESTINATION (PRO-GYMNASIUM) AT BENDORIŲ G. 43, VILNIUS

This tender, originating from Lithuania and sourced via TED, is an open architectural design competition for a science-focused primary school building located at Bendorių G. 43, Vilnius. The contracting authority, likely a municipal or governmental body responsible for education and public infrastructure in Vilnius, is seeking innovative and functional architectural concepts. The competition aims to select the best design for a new or redeveloped school facility that will serve as a 'progimnazija' (a type of school combining elements of primary and lower secondary education). Key requirements for such an architectural competition include the development of conceptual designs that address pedagogical needs, student well-being, energy efficiency, sustainability, and integration with the urban environment. Submissions will typically need to include drawings, models, and descriptive texts outlining the design philosophy, spatial organization, materials, and estimated costs. Evaluation criteria will focus on creativity, functionality, technical feasibility, and compliance with building codes and educational facility standards. The ultimate goal is to secure a design that creates an inspiring and effective learning environment.
