Als onderdeel van de regietaak is het RIVM verantwoordelijk voor monitoring en evaluatie van de prenatale screening. Het gaat hierbij om de Niet-Invasieve Prenatale Test (NIPT) en het Structureel Echoscopisch Onderzoek (SEO), inclusief voorafgaande counseling. In dat kader worden jaarlijks twee landelijke monitors (plus een Engelse vertaling) opgesteld om de kwaliteit en bereikbaarheid van deze screening te bewaken, knelpunten (in de zorgketen) te signaleren, bij te kunnen sturen, maar ook om te verantwoorden naar de opdrachtgever VWS en de ketenpartners. De werkzaamheden met de huidige leverancier lopen 31 december 2026 af. Een nieuwe overeenkomst voor de monitoring van PNS moet door aanbestedende dienst worden aanbesteed. Scope van de opdracht De opdracht betreft het uitvoeren van de jaarlijkse landelijke monitoring van NIPT-SEO aan de hand van vastgestelde indicatoren. Deze bestaat uit: 1. een monitor geaggregeerd op landelijk niveau in het Nederlands en Engels; 2. een gedetailleerdere professionalsmonitor geaggregeerd op regionaal niveau in het Nederlands.
