Multifunctional Retention Measures in Marburg - Negotiation Procedure for Engineering Structures Object Planning (Group 3) together with Structural Planning in Two Lots

Note: Structural planning services are no longer part of the tender --- The University City of Marburg intends to implement the project "Multifunctional Retention Measures" at two locations (Wehrda and Michelbach) by renaturing a body of water and constructing dams to achieve water-compatible and climate-adapted land use in the urban area. Here: Negotiation procedure for object planning of engineering structures (Group 3) in two lots. --- Project Description: Due to the steep topography and large natural outer areas, the University City of Marburg is particularly at risk during heavy rainfall. Within the framework of the climate adaptation concept, this issue was considered city-wide, and the pilot measure "Retention of Outer Area Water" was developed with two measure components that have high transfer potential to other areas in the city. The effectiveness of the measures was comprehensively investigated in the climate adaptation concept through numerous 2D flow simulations. With decentralized retention in multifunctional areas, significant areas in the towns can be protected from heavy rainfall. The two measure components (Lot 1 and Lot 2), located at the edge of the city center (Wehrda - Lot 1) and in the outer area (Michelbach - Lot 2), were designed in conjunction and included in the federal program "Adaptation of Urban and Rural Areas to Climate Change" by the Federal Institute for Research on Building, Urban and Spatial Planning (BBSR) within the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning (BBR) for funding. --- Scope of Services: Object planning services for engineering structures, service phases 1-8 § 43 HOAI plus special services (hydraulic calculations, creation of dam books) in two lots (Lot 1 Wehrda, Lot 2 Michelbach). See also attachment Project and Service Description. ---- In parallel, object planning services for open spaces will be tendered in 2 lots (Wehrda and Michelbach) in a separate procedure. ---- Project Costs: Estimated construction costs of approximately €295,000 net KG 300 for Lot 1 and €335,000 net KG 300 for Lot 2 are to be expected. The funding agency has prioritized both lots. Lot 1 (Wehrda) has higher priority than Lot 2 (Michelbach). --- Phased commissioning is planned for each lot. The individual project stages will be called off successively according to project progress. If the client decides to terminate the project after the completion of a project stage, no further call-off will occur. The contractor has no entitlement to call off further project stages.
