Um die Sanierung des bestehenden - rund 17 km langen - Gotthard Strassentunnels zu ermöglichen, haben sich Bundesrat, Parlament und Bevölkerung für den Bau einer zweiten Röhre entschieden. Die BSA-Ausrüstung der zweiten Röhre, als Röhre Nord bezeichnet, erfolgt in den Jahren 2027 bis 2030, teilweise parallel zur Fertigstellung der baulichen Arbeiten. Parallel zur Nordröhre wird auch die Galleria di Airolo (GdA) mit einer Länge von rund 1 km realisiert, die einen integralen Bestandteil des Gotthardsystems bildet. Umgehend nach der Eröffnung der Röhre Nord im Gegenverkehrsbetrieb, erfolgt die Erneuerung der Bestandsröhre, die als Röhre Süd bezeichnet wird. Die bauliche Sanierung ist in den Jahren 2030 bis 2033 terminiert. Die bestehende BSA-Ausrüstung der Röhre Süd wird aufgrund ihres Alters komplett zurückgebaut. Das vorliegende Los umfasst: Lieferung, Installation und Inbetriebsetzung der LWL-Infrastruktur in der Röhre Nord und der Röhre Süd inkl. Nordrampe ab Amsteg, Vortunnel in Göschenen, der Galleria di Airolo und die LWL-Infrastruktur bis zum Tunnel Stalvedro. Weiter sind die vier Schachtköpfe mit LWL ab den bergmännischen Lüftungszentralen zu erschliessen. Der Rückbau der bestehenden LWL-Infrastruktur in der Röhre Süd erfolgt bauseits.
