Procurement and planting of trees in the City of Zadar area

This tender concerns the procurement, delivery, planting, and maintenance of saplings on public areas within the City of Zadar, in accordance with the specifications detailed in the Procurement Documentation. The scope of the procurement includes the supply, delivery, planting, and subsequent care of the saplings. A mandatory minimum warranty period of 12 months for the rectification of defects is required for each individual phase, with the possibility of an extended warranty period if the selected bidder offers one, as outlined in the Procurement Documentation's selection criteria. The warranty period commences from the date of handover for each phase. Sapling maintenance encompasses all necessary works and materials according to professional standards. This includes replacing dried-out saplings, monitoring for and controlling diseases and pests, inspecting and re-securing stakes and ties as needed, and in cases of soil subsidence, supplying and spreading humus. Watering of the trees will also be carried out as required. A detailed description of the subject matter of the procurement is provided in the Annex – Project Task and the Annex – Bill of Quantities. This initiative aims to enhance the green spaces and overall environmental quality of the City of Zadar through the systematic planting and care of new trees.
