Description

Original language: German

This procurement, originating from Germany and sourced via TED, pertains to the acquisition of an 'ILS Network' (ILS stands for Integrierte Leitstelle, or Integrated Control Centre). The contracting authority is seeking to procure or establish a network solution for such a centre. An ILS typically integrates various emergency and dispatch services (police, fire brigade, ambulance) into a single command and control system. Therefore, this tender likely involves the supply, installation, and potentially maintenance of sophisticated IT and communication infrastructure. Typical requirements would include network hardware (servers, routers, switches), software for dispatch and communication management, data security measures, integration capabilities with existing systems, and robust disaster recovery solutions. The scope might also encompass training for personnel and ongoing technical support. Bidders are expected to demonstrate expertise in complex IT network solutions, particularly within public safety or critical infrastructure environments. The successful tender will ensure the effective operation and communication capabilities of the Integrated Control Centre, enhancing emergency response coordination within the relevant German region.
