New construction Fire Protection and Training Center (BAZ) at the Newel site

General Description: The Trier-Land municipality plans to build a central fire protection and training center in Newel to consolidate the supra-regional functions of the municipal fire brigade, leverage synergies, and increase operational readiness. The building will not only provide space for the safe storage of vehicles in the future but also for the storage and organization of a wide range of equipment. In addition to the aforementioned facilities, training and meeting rooms will be provided, not only for regular training and information on new techniques, regulations, and operational strategies but also for the central training and further education of the fire brigade college in the entire Trier-Land municipality. The training area will be complemented by a training yard and a training wall, specifically designed for practical training and exercises. The workshop areas of the fire brigade will be supplemented by additional office and workshop areas of the municipality (depot, forestry association) to cover a broader range of inspection, maintenance, and repair work. The ground floor and the first floor of the two-story building are planned as a solid reinforced concrete structure with a high degree of prefabrication. The external walls are made of hollow concrete walls, are thermally insulated, and feature an aluminum curtain facade with free profile geometry. The vehicle hall is to be constructed as a conventional reinforced concrete frame structure. The partition wall between the vehicle hall and the adjacent ancillary room program is intended as a reinforced concrete thermal wall. Internally, the hollow concrete walls are to remain largely visible. The roof structure in the form of a green roof with a PV system rests on reinforced concrete beams and consists of a trapezoidal sheet metal load-bearing shell as a warm roof structure, which is executed with acoustic perforation on the underside. The subject of this tender is the supply and installation of a hose maintenance system in accordance with DIN 14092-7 (see schedule of services).
