New Construction Hilgenbergschule - Shell Construction Work

The City of Stadtlohn is planning the new construction of an elementary school, the Hilgenbergschule. The project involves building a three-stream elementary school designed to accommodate approximately 324 schoolchildren and around 40 staff members. Additionally, a canteen with a warming kitchen will be provided for the daily meal service for the students. The building will be two stories high and will not have a basement. Large terraces, intended for use as outdoor classrooms, are integrated into the upper floor of the structure. The structural framework will be constructed using solid building methods, employing reinforced concrete and masonry. The ceilings are planned as massive reinforced concrete slabs with downstands. The facades will feature a brick finish, with certain sections utilizing a ventilated aluminum facade system. In traffic areas, wall surfaces will predominantly be exposed concrete. The flat roof above the upper floor will be designed as a green "retention roof" with optimized rainwater management. Parts of the roof will be equipped with photovoltaic systems. Key specifications include a gross internal volume (BRI) of 17,311.00 cubic meters and a gross floor area (BGF) of 4,016.00 square meters for the new building. The planned ground floor elevation is 49.50 meters above sea level, with building heights reaching +4.06 meters at the upper floor (terrace level), +5.19 meters at the top of the terrace parapets, and +8.25 meters at the top of the parapet (attica).
