Damit verfolgt das Projekt das übergeordnete Ziel, den öffentlichen Personennahverkehr in Bonn umweltfreundlicher, leiser und nachhaltiger zu gestalten. Die ausgeschriebene Leistung umfasst die Lieferung betriebsbereiter Neufahrzeuge, die den technischen und funktionalen Anforderungen der Vergabeunterlagen entsprechen. Mit dieser Investition wird ein wichtiger Beitrag zur Reduzierung von CO₂-Emissionen sowie zur Verbesserung der Luftqualität und des urbanen Mobilitätsangebots geleistet.
