Suurin osa yliopistosairaaloiden neurokirurgisista yksiköistä on ollut mukana vertaiskehittämisen palvelussa jo aiempina vuosina. Kuopion yliopistollisen sairaalan neurokeskuksella on tarve olla jatkossa mukana vertaiskehittämisessä yhdessä muiden yliopistosairaaloiden neurokeskusten kanssa.
